About Nick

Nick Papadopoulos is a journalist and amateur photographer based in Paris, France.

He began his journalistic career at The Sydney Morning Herald newspaper at the age of 18, and spent 10 years at the broadsheet before moving to Hong Kong in 1999

In Hong Kong, he worked briefly for the Far Eastern Economic Review, before joining TIME magazine as Editor of the award-winning website TIMEasia.com.

In September 2004 he moved to Paris, France, and now works for the internationally renowned photo agency VII, voted the third most influential photo agency in America today.

Nick was born in Sydney in 1971 and is the son of Greek immigrants.
